Thursday Nights Out: Is an event that runs every Thursday from now until August 30th between the hours of 5pm and 9pm.
How it works: Buy your $12 ticket booklets at the Downtown Oak Park kiosk at Lake and Marion Thursday nights between 5pm-9pm. These booklets contains 4 dine-around tickets and one voucher for $2.50 off two adult priced movie tickets. One dine-around ticket is good for one item off the Thursday Night Out menu — menus change each month.
More than 20 Downtown Oak Park restaurants participate and offer a variety of drinks, appetizers, entrees and desserts on the TNO menu and allow diners to eat inside or carry out. Tables are also set up outside for patrons to enjoy live entertainment while dining al fresco.

Mills Park Grand Re-Opening: Tonight is the grand re-opening party for Mills Park – starting at 6:30 – where light refreshments will be served and fun for the whole family is being promised. For future Thursdays you can go and enjoy everything the new park has to offer!
Oak Park Festival Theatre: Oak Park’s very own outdoor theater company, performing under the stars of Austin Gardens, starts off this season’s with a highly acclaimed production of Inherit The Wind.
