Ice Skating in Millennium Park

Take a spin on the ice surrounded by breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline. The McCormick Tribune Rink at Millennium Park is open to the public through March 8, 2020. Admission is free, and skate rentals are available for a fee.

ZooLights at Lincoln Park Zoo

Grab a cup of hot cocoa and stroll through Chicago’s beautiful Lincoln Park Zoo decorated with more than 2 million dazzling lights and 3D light displays. Admission to ZooLights is free through January 5, however, there is an additional cost for rides, food and beverages.

Winter WonderFest

Head indoors for more than 170,000 square feet of rides, slides, ice skating and holiday attractions. The Fifth Third Bank Winter WonderFest at Navy Pier is open through January 12 and is packed with indoor family-friendly fun. Hours and ticket prices vary.

New Year’s Eve Fireworks

Ring in the New Year with Chicago’s biggest and brightest fireworks display, held at the Navy Pier at midnight on December 31. For an extra special night, enjoy dinner and dancing on Lake Michigan with a New Year’s Eve dinner cruise aboard the Spirit of Chicago or the Odyssey.
