OakParkApartments.com would like to congratulate Animal Care League for being our 6th and final charity to win $2,025 in our 25th anniversary charity giveaway.
As part of the contest rules the vote totals from month to month were “rolled over” so that each charity’s hard work was not lost. With every new month each charity needed to “beg” their friends to vote again!
Well, Animal Care League was able to take a “bite” out of the last month’s competition with the consistent, month over month voting support of their friends. Because of that support ACL was able to maintain their “lead dog” status throughout the month. Several charities were “nipping at their heels” until the very end but Animal Care League did not “let sleeping dogs lie” and got the votes they needed to remain “top dog”.
O.k., o.k. OakParkApartments.com will quit with the dog puns since we are probably making some of our feline friends at ACL feel a little left out!
OakParkApartments.com knows that The Animal Care League is a wonderful resource for people looking to adopt a pet. The ACL helps homeless cats and dogs by “providing food, shelter, medical attention and love until they are able to find these animals a loving home.” Animal Care League, a not for profit agency, depends on the generosity of the Oak Park and surrounding communities to help meet their goals of “finding new homes for as many animals as possible each year.”
